Doug Bennett is an artist based in Raleigh, NC. His work explores snapshots and appropriated imagery, filtering them through surrealism, emotional tension, and humor. His practice investigates memory and its multiple facets - examining the shame, tenderness, and vulnerability of living inside cultural and personal myths that no longer hold.
